We take the safeguarding of your personally identifiable information very seriously. We process your personally identifiable information in accordance with statutory privacy provisions as well as this Data Privacy Policy.

In general, use of our website is possible without entering personally identifiable information. Insofar as personally identifiable information is collected (name, postal address or email address), this is done, as far as possible, on a voluntary basis.

 

Processing Agents, Recipients 

We process your personally identifiable data with the assistance of processing agents, who support us through the services they provide (e.g. Web hosts, email newsletter distribution services etc.).

E-Mail Newsletter 

By selecting the checkbox, you agree to the processing of the information you had entered for the purposes of receiving information about Glüxfall GmbH by means of an email newsletter from the data privacy officer until such time as your permission is revoked or rescinded. 

You are under no legal or contractual obligation to provide us with personally identifiable information. Failure to do so will merely mean you are unable to receive the email newsletter.

Prize Contests

After you have submitted the prize contest form, the personally identifiable information you have entered will be processed by the data privacy officer in order to conduct the prize contest consistent with the prize contest agreement which has been entered into, until the prize contest has been completed.

Your data may be further processed by third parties consistent with the original purpose and upon the same legal foundation for the purpose of direct marketing in forms that do not require your expressed permission, including personally addressed postage of advertising materials, until such time as permission is revoked. In such an instance, your data would be provided to the dispatching company.

Webshop 

Within the scope of the web shop, the data you have entered as well as the products you have selected will be processed by our data privacy officer in order to proffer you an offer, conclude the contract, fulfill said contract as well as fulfill potential post-contractual obligations prior to conclusion of the contract based upon the pre-contractual relationship initiated by you and, subsequent to conclusion of the contract, based upon the agreement itself.

Shopping baskets of nonregistered users are deleted after 14 days. The user accounts of registered users will remain until such time as the account is deleted by the user. Contractual data is processed until such time as the statute of limitations pertaining to any and all post-contractual obligations has expired.

Server Log File 

Based upon the preponderant legitimate interest of the responsible party (technical security measures), this website processes the following personally identifiable data in a server log file in order to monitor technical functionality and increase the operational security of the Web server: IP, user of the protected directory, date, time, pages accessed, logs, status code, data volume, referrer, user agent, name of accessed host.

In doing so, the IP addresses are anonymized. The anonymized IP addresses are deleted after 60 days. Information about the user of protected directories is anonymized after one day.

Error logs, which maintain a record of erroneously accessed webpages, are deleted after seven days. In addition to the error messages, these include the accessing IP address and, depending on the error, the website that was accessed.
